The Philadelphia Eagles are 8-4 on the season, but they have certainly had their fair share of struggles, and Nick Sirianni has taken blame for a lot of it.
More specifically, fans have pointed the finger at Sirianni for not making a move on offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, who has looked lost throughout most of the campaign.
So let's say the Eagles completely collapse down the stretch, much like they did in 2023. Could Sirianni's job be on the line?
Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon doesn't think so, claiming that Sirianni's seat is "ice cold" heading into the home stretch of the season.
"The Eagles have been a little off this season, but they're still a first-place team that won the Super Bowl in 2024," Gagnon wrote. "Sirianni also has the fifth-highest qualified regular-season winning percentage in NFL history."
Yeah, the idea of Philadelphia firing Sirianni on the heels of a Super Bowl definitely seems a bit trigger-happy, although there is no question that he holds some culpability here.

Philadelphia ranks 24th in the NFL in offense and 25th in defense. It is also hold a very average plus-21 point differential, so the fact that Philly is 8-4 is rather peculiar.
The Eagles have gone just 4-4 over their last eight games, however, and have lost back-to-back contests, putting themselves in a bit of danger with five weeks left in the regular season.
Luckily for Philadelphia, the surging Dallas Cowboys lost to the Detroit Lions on Thursday night, dropping the Cowboys to 6-6-1 and giving Philly some breathing room in what had become a suddenly tight NFC East race.
Whether or not the Eagles actually turn things around in 2025 remains to be seen. They are running out of time to do so, and their ugly Black Friday showing against the Chicago Bears was not exactly a great sign.
Philadelphia will face the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday. It appears that Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert — who just underwent surgery on his left hand — is preparing to play.
