With the Philadelphia Eagles' offense not playing at a competent level, many have wondered what's truly wrong with the unit.

However, while A.J. Brown's comments made some sense, they also don’t excuse him from continuing to make comments about the organization.

At the end of the day, he needs to do a better job of keeping things in-house and trying to work the offense with the remainder of the players and coaching staff. Going out and telling the media how unhappy he is isn't going to solve anything at the end.

Despite the truth behind that, there have also been others who are frustrated with the Eagles' offense. That includes running back Saquon Barkley, who's having one of his worst seasons in the NFL.

Barkley was the best running back in the NFL last season, but hasn't been great this campaign.

"You have to have the sense of urgency and the mindset to put what you did the week before in the past and move on and try to improve," Barkley said, via NBC Sports' John Clark. "You're never going to play a perfect game. And we know that the way we played on Monday — more times than not if we play that game against a lot of teams, we're going to lose. But that's why you have to have complementary football. And the defense came out and played big for us, but we know we got to improve. And that's the mindset.

"So whether it's we score 10 or whether we score 40, A.J.'s not saying anything wrong. We always looking for room to improve."

In Barkley’s defense, Brown's comments weren't wrong, but it was more so the fact that he shouldn't have come out and said them.

If he believes there’s a problem, he should’ve spoken to his teammates and the offensive staff to work things out.

For Barkley, he's also part of the problem. Throughout the season, he’s only averaged 3.9 yards per carry and has four touchdowns.

If the Eagles want to be the offense they're looking to be, it's going to take a total team effort, and not any assigning blame.
