The Philadelphia Eagles' offense has been an absolute mess this season, and it seems like it's too late for them to actually fix it.
There is just one week remaining in the regular season, and while we cannot entirely out a deep playoff run by the defending Super Bowl champions, it just seems hard to envision the Eagles repeating given the state that their offense is in.
Philadelphia will definitely have to make some adjustments this offseason, and that will probably include firing offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. But Philly may also want to bring in some fresh talent, as well.
With tight end Dallas Goedert hitting free agency, the Eagles will certainly be looking to add a new player at the position, and multiple outlets have already linked Philadelphia to University of Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq.
The fit definitely makes sense for the Eagles, who have regularly had strong tight ends for decades running now. Chad Lewis, Zach Ertz and now Goedert immediately come to mind.
Sadiq is a bit of a different breed, though.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound playmaker is built more like a big wide receiver and plays like one, as well. This season, Sadiq has caught 42 passes for 509 yards and eight touchdowns for Oregon, and he looks like a player who could dominate at the Scouting Combine.
Here's the craziest part: Sadiq is also a terrific blocker, which is very strange for a tight end who is that gifted as a pass-catcher.
Of course, Sadiq may struggle more as a blocker in the NFL, especially considering he is not exactly the biggest tight end in the world, but the fact that he takes pride in it is almost a quality that should endear him to NFL teams ... especially more physical ones like the Eagles.
Sadiq is a freakish athlete who is pretty clearly the best tight end in this upcoming draft class, and given that he doesn't play a position that his heavily prioritized, Philadelphia may be able to nab him in the back half of the first round.
Jalen Hurts could definitely stand to use another weapon at his disposal, particularly if Philly ultimately trades A.J. Brown this spring (which seems like a distinct possibility).
Look for the Eagles to make a move for a tight end this offseason, and expect to hear Sadiq's name tied to them quite a bit.
