This point was that within BBS we do not have enough threads, we have many 2 way conversations but many members dont seem to get involved with one anothers comments.

If you look to many posts you'll see a 2 way conversation between the Publisher and a Commenter. Very rarely do we see a number of commenters interacting with each other.

Now the key point of the BBS Network is "Meaningful Discussion".

So when reading a post ensure you read the comments as well, there will be many times where someone agrees or disagrees with your points, ensure you discuss and debate it.

This is what makes the platform interesting!

This is beneficial for the Network,  Board, Publisher and will soon be beneficial to the Commenter.

Heres an example of a good "Thread" with meaningful discussion ⬇️.

5 people were actually in this discussion and you can see they are having some genuine engagement on a subject they enjoy.

This is what is needed for a successful Board and Network.

REDDIT'S threads are set up so its easy to differentiate between comments and replies.

You can see below in the image how they indicate which reply is to which member ⬇️

So when returning to the post you can understand who the comments are aimed at.

Many times on BBS we get multiple notifications from a member replying though the reply isnt aimed at one of our comments.

I think if BBS can find a way to get the Comments/Threads set up in a similar fashion. It will not only help with the UI it will increase and encourage meaningful discussion.

This is something we are trying to promote and encourage in SPORTX and GAMTECH and i think an update to this could be really beneficial to the platform 😀.
