Watching Crypto Banter earlier....and Ran was describing Centralised bank digital currency as a major concern, and something to be cautious of. Surely it's just fiat currency in digital form, and has no resemblance to Crypto. I never use cash anymore... pretty much. Everything I pay for nowadays is done via my phone or card, so technically I'm already using CBDC...or am I missing something? Cash is just proof that you own the numbers on your screen. I must stress that I was unable to listen to the end of Banter today, so Ran may have finalised with saying..not to worry, like he normally does. But a centralised currency is what we're all fighting against, and the only reason why we do what we do, so.... maybe I should have listened to the end of the show, and maybe I've had one too many bourbons...but every time you buy nowadays... it's digital fiat... unless you barter with commodities.
