Here are a few highlights and insights to wrap up June.

Traffic

AM = Active Member (Registered member) - AU = Active User - Daily Av. AU = Daily average - Active UserAM = Active Member (Registered member) - AU = Active User - Daily Av. AU = Daily average - Active User

Active Members (AM)

Active Users (AU)

  • The boards with the highest daily average of Active Members are METABBS (141 AM), MNFTC (92 AM), and BANTER (68 AM).
  • Notably, the boards with high Active User (AU) traffic are significantly different: AITAH (4,716 daily average AU), PROCHOC (3,560 daily average AU).
  • The boards with the largest number of Unique Viewers are AITAH (47,795), PROCHOC (45,883).
  • A significant reduction in members' traffic in Asia, with the CPM decreasing to 5 and a moderate decrease in external traffic was observed in Europe.

Events’ Count (1)

  • Country-wise, there is a notable fall in event counts in Pakistan (-16.67%), Netherlands (-41.17%), Trinidad & Tobago (-42.68%), and Nigeria (-18.90%). Despite seeing a decrease of 16.67%, Pakistan still led the count with 846,173 events.
  • On the other hand, the United Kingdom saw the most substantial growth rate of 30.20%, reaching 206,769 events in June.
  • The most significant changes were seen in Hong Kong, which experienced an 89.08% decrease.
  • We observed substantial traffic increases in Northern Europe, particularly the UK, Sweden, and Norway.

Registrations

  • The total number of registration fell slightly from 991 in May to 891 in June.
  • There's a marked reduction in sign-ups from Pakistan (-28%) and a notable decrease from Germany (-75%) and the Netherlands (-36%).
  • The United Kingdom saw a large increase in sign-ups (77%), and Australia and Israel also saw substantial increases (64% and 46% respectively).
  • While the United States saw a smaller increase compared to countries like the UK, Canada, and Australia, it's important to note that the US had a higher base sign-up count. This means the US growth is still considerable.
  • When we compare the sign-up data with the events' count, it's interesting to note that despite the significant decrease in events in Pakistan, Netherlands, and Hong Kong, these decreases are not mirrored in the sign-up numbers. This indicates that while engagement might have decreased, user acquisition did not see a parallel decline.

Posting frequenc

  • A decline of 20% in post numbers from May to June was observed, with an average of 7 posts per publisher in June.
  • About 800 members published between 1 to 10 posts and 230 members published between 20 to 50 posts.
  • 32% of the members did not make any posts at all, which is an improvement of 20% compared to May. This could be a positive indication of increased user engagement, suggesting that more users are transitioning from passive observers to active contributors.

General Information

  • The highest number of new members joining in June was observed on AITAH (188), followed by METABBS (198), and MNFTC (151).
  • However while AITAH, METABBS, and MNFTC have the most new members, they do not align with the boards with the highest traffic. This suggests that these boards may be attracting new users but not necessarily converting these users into active members or frequent viewers.
