Yesterday we have seen a big update and most of the things are changed now .

I'm just going to talk about my understanding and confusions about this update

Change in words and their work

1:- Purchasing a post is now called promoting a post.

2:- Community currency to reputation.

First I didn't understand these two points that how will we get reputation points from promoting a post but than after reading a post from Ghost_Sniper@bbs it's clear now

If you buying (promoting) a post for 5 community tokens ( reputation points) you will only get it back with some profit if post get 5+ views otherwise your reputation points are wasted

3:- Whitelisted to partnered

Interface will be different for whitelist (partnered members) . They will get 100% cpm from their impressions. First it was divided between publisher and buyer but now all the cpm and all the generated revenue is for post publisher (partnered member)

Few good things about this update

Partnered Members will get 100% earning because post buyer is not getting revenue now

Only 10% fee will be deducted at the time of withdraw because board will not get 20% from whitelisted members

I think these points will encourage members to come back to bbs because now they can earn more by publishing posts now . One more thing if you have any cashables before this update you will get it once you become a partnered member so don't worry about your cashables

More Easy to get approval of engagement mining for a new board

Now you can create a new board and make it successful because engagement mining approval is not that difficult you just have to maintain 10 posts per day from unique members

Confusion about one point:

Board owner will get earning of non-whitelisted members So I think in this way approvals will be more late , Because all the community owners want earning so they might think about late approvals so they can earn more from non-whitelisted members
