I joined BBS around late December and at that time I had no idea how it will turn out. Six months later I found out that it has been the best thing happened to me in a while. Now I am an active part of multiple communities and trying to help raise them in multiple ways and contribute positively.

Lowering the Cashout Base

After the release of the new update which will effectively take place tomorrow with the reset of rewards page it would be better now that some changes should be made to the cashout base system as well. It used to be at 1$ where user's were allowed to cashout every time they recieve an ads revenue bit later it was adjusted to 10$ to avoid too much load on the cashier . But with the latest update of 5 CPM it will be high time to revert back to 1$ Cashout base now as keeping it to 10$ doesn't makes any sense anymore. Jun 22, 2023

Engagement Minning and Uniquenees

Hello MetaBBS  Finally I was able to digest all the hard behaviour recieved across different boards including MetaBBS and this is my first post here after a while. Anyway lets jump to the main point I have seen many new communities being setup recently which is a good sign for the growth of BBS but one issue that I have seen is the topic some of the newly setup communities have choosen the topics on which some boards are already approved in Engagement Minning so although at least two communities on the same topic were approved before as well I still want to know the new clarification on it from the admins that whether these newly setup communities will be able to get approved if they fulfills all the matrices regardless of their topic ?May 7, 2023

Board Promotions At MetaBBS

For quite some time I have been observing that the board promotions at MetaBBS aren't attracting much audience so this has made me think that whether it's a useful idea or not ? I think the board promotions aren't getting much attention here at MetaBBS at all so in that case what will be the usecase of these promotions if no one is even reading it Or what should be done in that regards to gain the attention of users on MetaBBS because the ultimate goal of the board promotion is to gain some audience but sadly if no one is reading such posts than we are  not gaining any audience either as per my understanding.  So there must be something different needed to be done here on a collective level maybe to add more charm in the board promotions . Low Number of Unique User's

Having a look at the Rewards Table Review its somewhat of a sideways movement on many fronts , the average CPM across boards is gradually  picking up and currently its around 43 which is a good progress made by the boards , but the real problem is the number of unique user's which are continuously getting down. If we compare the data of the past week the number of unique user's caries from as low as 1079 to as high as 1239 , its basically ranging in between these which is something of a concern because for a healthy growth the number of unique users should see a healthy increase on weekly basis but what's happening right now is that we are getting a sideways movement in a very low range. The more the unique user's the better it will be for the platform to succeed but for when it will finally or how it will finally happen I am not too sure about it. Staking Confusions

I have got some amount of BBS tokens staked and there have got some confusions related to it . How Claim , Restake and Extend works ? I wanted to extend my tokens duration but that too without claiming the rewards but I wasn't sure whether my initially staked tokens will be extended only or the Rewards will be compounded automatically  and I have searched the Board here but couldn't get anything concrete on it so I opted to claim my tokens and simply extend my Stake period but I will wish to get some clarification on it for future staking . Additionally I have that for same Base Gas the fee for extending is the highest I am not sure what's the reason behind that because in my thinking the fer should be same be it for extend od claim or stake .Mar 1, 2023

Partnership At MetaBBS

It has been a while since anyone would have got partnership at MetaBBS and as mentioned in the guidelines of the board its not where people should expect partnership nor I have seen any member striving for it of late.  But still as it the main Board of BBS NETWORK it would be much better to keep the interest level of users here intact to some extent.  As there have been many Partners on MetaBBS who  have not even logged into the platform for several months now so it's quite safe to assume that such members must have left the platform in that case what will be the usecase of keeping partnership for those members who don't have any Interest left in the platform whatsoever? Might be a good time to review those members who are not even a part of BBS NETWORK now.Feb 28, 2023

Use of AI ?

Yesterday I read a comment by Kitty to a user where she asked the user to tell whether the user is using an AI to make comments.   And that has prompted me to the question that whether it's within  the general guidelines of BBS NETWORK to use an Artificial Intelligence to make the engagements? That's something interesting to know because I don't think its good to use an AI for engagements. But its somewhat questionable that might be cleared here . Though I dont think it's a good thing to do as it kills the human factor. Feb 27, 2023

Organic Growth

With the release of new BBS NETWORK roadmap it is apparent that the focus is on organic growth.  Where rewards for users for bringing in new ones will be implemented.   As the previous update was also being implemented to make sure some new users should be brought on by the board owners.  And for that we have seen a lot of effort being put on by board owners so that new users could be brought on. But again the real problem is that whatever efforts board owners or users of different communities make . The mass adoption is not possible without the efforts being put on by BBS team itself as they can make some mass advertisement campaigns which can hopefully bring in some good number of active users in my opinion .Feb 26, 2023

BBS and Web3 Space

Recently I have started exploring different Web3 Platforms along with BBS as there are quite a lot of them available but to be honest after using one or two other platforms I have came to the conclusion that BBS NETWORK is way ahead of others in its functionality.  The way BBS operates is not matchable as no other platforms have been very raw as compared to BBS but still I have seen that there is a lot of traffic on other platforms which is not the case for BBS.  Any platform that we Joins the first thing a user look for is the people with whom you can interact and that's the biggest issue with BBS as people are leaving day by day.  If I go a week before this recent update my notification bar was always flooded and I wasn't able to deal with with all the notifications.  But now its completely opposite where I hardly gets any notification.  Same must be the case for majority of the users so that's why I will like to see more people here and some relaxed rules because the current model is somehow preventing people from making enagagemts.  There are far less restrictions on majority of Web3 platforms but I believe BBS is way too strict.  Although this is just my personal opinion and I maybe wrong. Feb 24, 2023

Rewards Table Review

Reviewing the rewards table for the past week and it has been another mixed week on BBS Network as a whole , the more users are getting used to with the new update the less user's we are seeing on each board. For instance the earlier week the numbers were on a mixed trend with green and red trends in majority of the boards but the past week the numbers have been red on majority of the boards . The problem is many users are getting disgruntled with BBS and we are seeing very less members taking interest these days. Majority of the boards doesn't promote engagements while on some boards its a free will of the user's where they can engage with posts of their interest.   This is so sad to see as the platform is easily one of the bests among all of its Web3 competitors and that's why some user's just don't leave the platform despite the continuous changes being made in rules. New user's have been joining the platform but many finds it hard to follow the rules and many user's leaves shortly after joining the platform as they don't know what to post and how to post. So it has been a mixed result thus far where user's are coming while some old one leaving on continuous basis. Feb 22, 2023

Cash Out Rate

Its great to see the cash out rate is getting back to the levels it was once used to be , the Cash out rate for a long period of time stayed at 1:7 but after several dips from the price of BBS token it went as low as 1:100 which meant that too many tokens were getting drained in a small period of time. But with now as the price of BBS token is getting back to a healthy positive uptrend and the overall impact is a very healthy one too . I will still like to see the cash out rate getting better and better and it will have a very good and Positive impact. The selling pressure from the web has decreased to ten folds and that has been playing a big part in the overall healthy uptrend of BBS token too. It will be interesting to see if it keeps on that way.Feb 20, 2023

Release of Staking Rewards

The Staking Rewards for the previous quarter has been released and the good thing is that there is a small jump in the average APR as well the max APR for the next quarter.  Part of this reason could be that some users have unstaked their tokens that's why the Staking APR has increased because there is a direct relation between the Staking Rewards and the number of tokens staked. I would like to see some more jump in the average APR of the staking rewards.  It will be interesting to see if the current users opt to extend their stakings than what will happen with these Staking Rewards probably it will go down again .Feb 17, 2023

Feature Request

Since one of the updates were implemented the Reactions and Tippers on our post functionality is available where we are able to see who has reacted to our post or who has tipped the post.  But when checked the feature in detail it has been revealed that it only shows Likes while it doesn't tells us about the dislike on our post. Below is the example of it as in my recent two posts someone has disliked the post but when I searched about that dislike there is no more information available as who has disliked the post as only persons who Likes the post are shown in it. It would be much better if we can see that who has disliked the post along with Likes .Feb 15, 2023

Silence Please

I am publishing this post with a very heavy heart as I believe this us something that needed to be brought up in front of general public on BBS. As BBS NETWORK proclaims itself as a platform where there is  freedom of speech nothing actually applies here.  I am not even sure what are the community guidelines here at MetaBBS maybe there are no more written guidelines and all that is in the guidelines is what  Admins wants here at MetaBBS and what they doesn't want. To my understanding we have reached at a Point where Admins are looking for a complete Silence here at MetaBBS and nothing else.  That is what I have understood from whatever is happening here in the past few days. Sorry Admins but it shouldn't meant to be like this if someone is not even breaking any rules yet recieving a very very harsh treatment . Maybe none of us are required here at least. Rewards Table Review

Reviewing the Rewards Table we see that the overall sentiment on the whole BBS is a bit down if we analyze the top communities we can see that the majority of the boards are on some kind of fall down as the unique user's are just about moving at a very steady rate. Although we have around 1200 unique users on the whole Network , but when we compare it in a bit more detail many of these members are active in multiple communities so the overall unique user figure is not what we are actually looking at here.  For Example if I take example of myself here I am active in four to five communities and although I count as a unique member for  each and every one of them but when we call it as a whole about Network I should count as only one user rather than four or five.  All the communities are trying hard to get unique members but right now the problem is more people are leaving than new ones joining . Are These Deposts Allowed ?

I was looking at the possibility of depositing Eos for gaining some cashable currency within a community but first I would like to know that whether such deposits are allowed on BBS or  not.. Because one of the use case of these deposits can be for running ad campaign but what if I made a deposit and later do a cashout .  Whether it is allowed on BBS or not? As you can see from the picture below if we take the example of Indfam currency there are four such methods to make a deposit depending upon a user suitability.  But I wanted to clarify it before making a deposit. Feb 12, 2023
