Latest update removes the $5 CPM from all small BBS boards.

CPM REMOVED FROM SMALLER BBS? I have noticed that all the $5 banners from BBS have been removed on all the smaller boards, I think this is a big shame and will hamper the growth of the ecosystem again. I suggest they reinstate this support at least to the top 50 or 100 boards and spend more time checking to see if boards are within community guidelines. One can not claim to be a social media platform "owned by it's users" if the owners can move the goal posts at a whim and determine what and how should be posted. Real strength in community is organic and BBS's job should be to provide "fertile soil" instead of "pruning the sapling" to it's demise. Please correct me if I have missed something but my question is what is the incentive to join smaller boards if there is no CPM and no way to generate it for board members and owners? What are your thoughts? Do you feel like an "owner" of this social media platform? UPDATE: Info covering this subject has now been added to the official update post. Thanks to 0xReclamation.Jul 7, 2022

UPDATES: Whitelisting and new Menu layout

Whitelist Reset The reset of whitelisting has happened and with this clean slate we are in the process of whitelisting our top members on  AUDIO INPUT.  It's good to see some white ticks in the community, thank you for your contribution! New menu layout Enjoying the new menu layout and functionality. I think this will make the experience a lot more streamlined for new members too. Looking forward to upcoming updates and more support for smaller communities out there.I still think it would be great to have a weekly/monthly "featured BBS" giving exposure to quality boards out there. What are your thoughts?Jul 5, 2022

BBS TIP: Using "ASCII Art" is a nice way to bring life to your BBS 'About Section'.

WHAT IS ASCII ART? WHAT DOES ASCII MEAN? Here is an example of how it has brought life to my about section. Do you ever engage with polls on BBS?

Do you ever check out the polls on BBS?It's another way to engage and create talking points even if there is no "money" value. The more interesting and active BBS is, the better for all members and wallets. ;)Take a minute to check them out and engage, you may bring a smile to those that took the time to make them. :)Jun 8, 2022

BBS UPDATE: Visual layout of comments.

I'm not sure if this is new but something I haven't noticed before... Comments now have been updated to a slick new layout with "connecting lines" Is this a new addition? Have you noticed it before? I think it looks good and makes it easier on the eye to follow comment threads. What do you think?Jun 2, 2022

BBS UPDATE: The "$" icon has now been replaced with your board's BBS logo.

In the latest minor update one of the things that have been added/changed is the "$" icon on your posts. You will now find it is the logo from the specific BBS you are visiting. :) What do you think of this change? Do you like it? Even though it's not a major change I think it looks good.Jun 2, 2022

A big thank you to all the music lovers on BBS!

The Music Family A big thanks to you all for joining our BBS and creating a space for music related content! AUDIOIN has been in and out of the top 30 in the rewards charts and it would be great to get back into the top 20 again! Please help spread the word and tag your friends (who don't mind being tagged)... Create some posts, comment as much as possible, and let's rise to the top!! No pressure, this BBS is not about the charts and rewards, the main thing is that it's a place for music lovers in all styles! Much respect. BBS.AUDIOIN <---------May 4, 2022

It's a great addition to BBS.Check out the clickable links for yourself below:May 3, 2022

Pump and Dump? Not a healthy sign for the BBS token.

Does anybody know what happened on the 25th of April? A massive "Pump and Dump" of almost 120%... Was there a new listing or is this an "inside" buy and selloff? Almost $1,000,000 in volume under 24 hours... Very suspicious. Do you have any idea what happened on the 25th of April or what this massive red spike could be a result of?May 2, 2022

Wishing all BBS members a happy 420!

Crypto and "4:20" has always had a strong relationship whether as resistance/support in the trading charts or the habits of the general "degen" out there. Most notably the connection between Doge and 420 after the community highjacked the international holiday last year with #dogeday. Sending out vibes to all the octopus' out there who like that good seaweed...Bless up. Happy 420 BBS Here's some tunes to browse to... :) ============================== You can find me sharing music at bbs.market/AUDIOIN/Apr 20, 2022

How soon can we expect to have clickable links on the rewards page?

A request to admins and developers: It really would be nice to have clickable links to BBS's on the rewards page.I don't claim to know how your backend systems work but there is already interaction with metadata on the rewards page, so having links shouldn't be a train-smash... Providing this update would solve more than one issue and community request, and also provide a way for the BBS "web" to grow. It will also give developers more time to create a fully functional search option. If you want this change to BBS vote "YES" in the comments. . . . . Update: We may be seeing this change "sooner than later"...Apr 20, 2022

Let's climb the BBS CHARTS!

A big thanks to all members new and old for making AUDIOIN such a great place to share and talk about music (or anything music related!..) It has been a pleasure listening to all your posts, you all have very good taste! Even though this BBS is not about scrambling to earn profits, it would be beneficial to all members to try be active when you can... Post, comment... enjoy the music too! :D  We are currently at #40 in the engagement rewards charts, it would be great to try get into the top 20 again, so invite some peeps... share some music and have fun. Having higher CPM would be great but it's the music and you being in the community I truly appreciate. If you have any ideas or want me to create or feature anything specific, let me know, this is our community not mine. I've been thinking about adding "genre" channels, but classifying music can be tricky sometimes.  :) Much respect. AUDIOApr 13, 2022
