Happy 2nd birthday to $BBS Token 🎂
Today right 2 years back Eyal announced the token launch starting with "BBS Token" Copper launch auction .. i was one of those who witnessed the whole process of BBS Token launch from scratch.. (here is that post which announced the cooper launch auction)Soon after the auction launched the initial offerening price almost 3-4x to our wallets hope you all OG Members will remember that day haha but soon after that the token price is on bearish momentum from $0.16-%0.17$ ATH in February 2022 to now in Febrauary 20224 we are at 0.011$ hardly one cent thats 93% price down which is huge imo we havent taken any such uptrend in 2 years always dumping 3 months back in november 2023 there was ATL was recorded at 0.004$ post making ATL BBS token has increased 0.004$ to 0.01$ almost a 101% increase but yet we are 93% down to that ATH of 0,16$..in 2 years we havent yet attracted any new exchange listing too there is no news to new. listing from such a long time while i see few different social media are listed on some centralized exchange already..i hope going in to 3rd year BBS see some uptrend ..

I miss those days of buying "Pinned Posts" of metabbs and the excitement.those days of buying a post earning from retaining a post..Those days of 2-3k views on pinned and top posts on banter and at metabbs..those inflow of new users coming on to the platform to metabbs updating and adding new functions every week..tons of user suggestions,unique content writters and some fun memes..it all seems like thriving and BBS team were quick on updates but latelt we have been so slow and not seeing any of those early days environment and vibe on this platform..i hope Q-2 brings the change in here and we hope we see growth and something big movement grows on here or else as bull market narrative is setting amongst investors many new Social media gonna rise big ICO $ and launch their product with airdrop narrative and users will be more divided.. My view on Eyal’s last post on bringing Media Houses domain to BBS 🤷🏻♂️
As i understood from eyal’s last post talking about how he wants to bring media houses on BBS convincing such media houses to make their own domain (BBS Boards) and push Web3 Social media.. I strongly feel This vison of his destined to fail reason being 1) Media houses uses their own website which majority of their audience/viewers visit on daily basis and also their official website domain gives them freedom to share their articles,videos,contents and daily news updates in different and unique style and size and format which their editor and website specialists edits the headlines on daily basis and also their viewers and audience is already aware about their particular official domain website where as if these media houses comes on BBS their posts and updates will be in a post format which their users/readers are not used to so these media house can only use their BBS domain as to post their news updates from their official domain and can not be exclusive platform/domain for their viewers/readers.. 2) Some Media houses website audienece and viewers pays subscription to read or watch content and they pay these directly using their Debit/Credit card or online payment in fiat currency and even the TOP media houses struggle to find sufficient revenue generation from their subscribers as the number is not that big only 2-3% or even lower than that actually buys premium subscription from media house website as the news is spread like a fine piece of cake so it is available everywhere within minutes on all platforms for free so people tend not to buy premium subscription from media houses.. If these media houses make their domain on BBS they will have to offer the subscription using BBS tokens and for that to happen they will have to educate their viewers and readers on how to do all the transactions to even buy and pay using BBS tokens and majority of their viewers and readers who have taken subscription on their official website why they would come here just to read the same post and articles which are available on their official website? Eh? And for that too will they pay for subscription using BBS Tokens 🤷🏻♂️ just think about this for a second they are not even aware about what is Web3 at first place.. 3) Media Houses runs by advertisers money as major money comes from advertisers and these advertisers are already paying to get spot on their official website where the traffic is coming and where their viewers and readers are used to the content format.. i dont see any scenerio how these advertisers will be willing to pay for advertising on a media house’s secondary domain that BBS willing to be 🙄 4) BBS is a social media platform and not a platform for media houses to just dump their article's from their main website to here on their board..imho BBS team and Eyal has to think about how to make bbs a place for socialization and user engagement and make a place where a user can come and post whatever they feel like as honestly social aspect is gonna be ruined by media houses and such boards.. take survey and see people like platforms where there is acceptance and audience with diverse content and not just all about media and news..more emphasis should be given to social aspect if BBS wants to become truly a social media platform 🙋🏻♂️ To conclude my point i firmly believe BBS can be secondary domain for media houses but not their official and main platform to put their content and share news to their audienece.. Even for media houses there will be trouble to remain on 2 domain first one being their official website where they are already established and their viewership is there and 2nd if they come on BBS they will have to educate their audience about BBS and the same thing will repeat at first these media house bbs board will be hyped and in just few weeks they will leave the platform abandoned..i could be wrong but this is the scenerio that gonna repeat and if this happens remember i had told you first and you read it here 🙋🏻♂️ Let me know what do you think in comments share your POV with us did i missed any points? - BBS Soldier 👨🏻✈️

Where does BBS Stands on DApp Radar? 👀| Competition 🛑 | Web3 Space evolving rate 🚴🏼♂️
Hello BBSers GM Today i was going through Dapp Radar (a platform to research and see different DApps built on different block chains) to see where does BBS Platform stands according to various metrics and analysis done by DApp radar specifically in (SOCIAL MEDIA) Category..As i searched Social Media Category DApps built on all across all chains i found out that there are total 460+ DApps built in SocialFi category across all blockchains.. i have given the link above incase if you want to check by yourself as i saw that there are already 460+ DApps out in Web3 Market although there are few projects which are not listed yet on DApp radar so the number could be well above 500+ imo In Social Media Category according DApp Radar data BBS Market is placed at 183rd position out of 460 based on last 30 days UAW and if we specifically see EOS blockchain Social Media Category BBS is placed at 8th place in Social Media projects built on EOS blockchain.. As you all can see that the competition is getting bigger and bigger and the Web3 Social Media market is getting launched new projects every other week.. There are 460 Web3 Social Media projects listed on DApp Radar across all blockchains and there are few more which are yet not have launched their token or listed yet so the market is already saturated and the audience has been divided most of the SocialFi platforms i have been through or have used to do research one thing i found common that is only the early adopters and early birds who got a bit incentive in early stage are still active and using those platforms on majority of platforms while the new users inflow is not that much on any platform... With this many projects already out in Web3 space it is surely a need of an hour to market your product with different mean and stratergies to reach to masses and attract worldwide audience without marketing there is no way to be known in Web3 space now and i firmly believe a team that is more pro-active,catching and utilizing every social trend and be a trend setter in this evolving space, take step to be a leader in Web3,communicate with Web3 audience across platforms will gain significant audience and i think which ever platform be able to incline all the above mention points that platform will succeed to get larger current Web3 active audience to their platform..sitting quitely and putting everything on HOLD is surely hurting the project and all the active members mostly the late 2021 & early 2022 audience are here still using the platfomr in a long time we havent seen any new users joining us or contributing,engaging on this platform and METABBS has been a dry place lately..With all of us now waiting for the partnership announcement that has been in works from quite a few months now i hope the partnership and marketing finally starts on this platform and it doesnt disappoint the members who are all waiting in anticipation from a long wait now and we finally see this platform thrive and maybe we reach to the Top of DApp Radar Social media category by the year end of 2024? who knows?Its all in hands of the team and the CEO how they market and what they do to make BBS a known app to worldwide audience.. DSCVR platform a direct competition to BBS | What is missing here? UI & UX | My Opinion 🙋🏻♂️
Hello BBSers well i have been away for a while travelling and busy with work but here i am back on this platform..all this while i have been doing my bit of research on different Web3 SocialFi platforms to see how they are progressing comparing to BBS..i had made a post comparing BBS to different Web3 SOcialFi platforms last year..here i want to share you about a platform which is growing and is similar to what bbs wants to achieve the platform is called DSCVR and it is based on Solana chain..Here is short detail i found on interenet..- DSCVR.one DSCVR, or simply Discover, aims to be a creative mix of Reddit-based alternatives with a sparkly integration of Medium blog that integrates Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) to offer high web speed to all its active users. Currently, DSCVR has approximately 200,000 active users who have access to the content and the platform, whose words are bricks to the foundation and evolution of such a venue.what are the similarities of BBS and DSCVR well both are community based platforms and both layout are majority similar to reddit here is the Screenshot below..as you can make different communities on BBS its the same concept on DSCVR you can make different portals (board/communities) There are lot of different UI and UX functions that are missing on BBS such as the discover board mode and well layed out masterfeed.. as you can see on the below screenshot you can discover portals(boards) from your masterfeed while on BBS we have to manually find and search for different boards which gives limitation to user to find or discover new boards.. a discover and popular portals has to show up on BBS and they also has to include non EM approved boards in order to make new boards more visible and discoverable to new users and also to existiing users... Another feature missing on UI/UX is the discover new users and find OG Users curretly on BBS the only way to find new users and follow them is by manually finding each users and going to their profile and follow them which is only possible if the users has made a post in recent time on the board which is a flaw imo if a new user joins BBS they get more confused and dont get the whole concept as take any platform of recent times every platform shows discover people/users or promote users who are active to get them more followers and viewers to their profile.. even DSCVR has a sepearte window for viewers to discover new users and follow them directly by just one click.. this feature has been asked by many in 2 years but yet it has not been given the Devlopment side has been very very slow TBH the necessary features which helps UI & UX to make better and ease to use has never given priority and it is time now for BBS to redesign and redeploy the work on UI & UX to make it more attractive give basic and all necessary features which has been asked by suggested by the users all this while..The platform has to be more user friendly interms of UI and it has to be at par with atleast similar Web2 apps.. If we compare ourselves with Reddit UI then too there are alot of fnctions which are not dvloped or implemented on BBS its high time now to work more on devlopment side and give users what they want.. there has been no update or bug fixes from a long time now and it demotivates active users and makes us feel abondead i hope the team and Eyal listens to this and see other Web3 social platforms learn from it and implement what is necessary.. IMO The success also depends on the blockchain a project is using Solana,ETH,MATIC are somehwat popular chain right now and it co-relates with attracting the userbase tbh we being on EOS chain is a benifit in terms of the TX and fees but EOS chain not as widely popular as SOLANA or MATIC and the TX fees on those chains are also not deal breaking i would love if BBS platform becomes multi blockchain and attract big chain users to join BBS..Another aspect is every Web3 Platform right now gives back fraction or even tiny amount back to users who are active on daily basis and putting their half day time to the platform.. with Daily or Weekly streak checkin rewards such platforms are retaining users this way by giving back a small or tiny friction amount of tokens to users it is not just helping those platforms to retain users but it helps users too and the users will have the excitement and rush to come and visit and give time to the platform..Currently on BBS we have only manual way of distribution rewards to end users but there should be automated way of distributing rewards too in form of daily or weekly streack check in and active and engagement time given to the platform it will definately help attract new users and a tiny amount can be shared from the rewards table to the users.. There are board owners and users who have been consistent and giving half of their day time here and i feel it should be rewarded i have been consistent on this platform since Nov 2021 and hardly would have missed 10-12 days in total in almost 2 and half year in here but currently what i get is the Reputation points just for visiting each board i have joined the RP which holds no value now as the partner (whitelist) model is now no more in play wither remove RP or find a way to distribute the check in reward in automated way it is need of an hour and i see this will definately help attract new users and keep the users excited to be on the platform and give more time on the platform.. Looking at current community sentiment it is at the lowest in BBS history as there has been no single update or bug fixed in more than 6+ months now no devs seem to be here and the mods are also have no clue of whats going on in the background... alot of us are feeling demotivated and feel the team is just slowly trying to burn the house down i hope that is not the case this time..BBS team and CEO has to do alot more if the new partnership with media outlet is just about bringing the media house on BBS and make them create their board and force their followers and readers/viewers to join BBS well then i guess it is destined to fail as we have many example of such boards which were brought up by BBS team..Crypto Banter,AITAH,DAOMAKER,PROCHOC and few more board which were promoted as a partnership model and has not worked well it all starts with hype to begin with and down the line ends up abandoned as the board owner and looses interest i hope that wont be the case with the new media partnership and more support,education and feedback and reviews should be shared to new boards on daily basis and communication is there from the start by the team as i am sure many of us who have been here get frustrated when new boards are created with hype and then in just few weeks we see the downfall and the board and owner just go away and no where to be found.. I hope eyal has more ways to actually promote BBS and be value adding in web3 and not just board creation plan with this partnership..Well thats it for now and i hope 2024 will ignite the fire and give new direction to the BBS platform and we learn and implement best things of other Web3 platforms starting from UI & UX to fulfilling user and market needs..Thanks for reading and do comment down if you have anything more to add or have anything on your mind i would love to get to know your view..- BBS Soldier 👨🏻✈️

$BBS token liquidity has vanished on EOS chain? Dont Cashout or withdraw to EOS chain?
Hello BBS team,it seems that the liquidity pool created on EOS chain to provide swap facility to sell BBS Tokens for EOS has liquidited and finished..as i checked on defibox.io it is showing me that there is no liquidity pool in transaction.. i would like to get some clarification on this are we gonna get a new liquidity pool created by team to let all the BBS Holders on EOS chain can feel secured keeping their tokens there ?when can we expect the liquidty pool to be created? i see the withdraw option to EOS chain is still there but what is the point of sending our tokens to EOS chain if there is no liquidity provided there? this can lead to big mistrust for users and can create panic among all the $BBS token holders who have kept their tokens on EOS Chain through their Anchor/Wombat wallets.. Waiting for reply from a team member and more clarity on this will be much appreciated else we are stuck with tokens on EOS chain which we cant do anything with as there is no option to swap BBS token on EOS to either Binance Chain or ETH chain too and no liquidity means we cant even sell it.. Last time EOS liquidity came through BBS DAO voting 1 year and 10 months back in Feb 2022 30k USD worth of$BBS tokens and 30k USD worth $EOS tokens were added to liquidity pool through DAO voting.. and it seems to that pool has been liquidified and there was one user who majorly cashed out and sold all his BBS holdings in this 1 and half year i wont name the user as you do your own research with on chain data..There is confusion now among $BBS token holders who have kept their some position on EOS chain and much needed clarification is need from team.. without liquidity our tokens are dead TBHi hope someone from team answers us here ASAP as all the transfer for BBS platform and token distribution to EM approved boards is handled through EOS chain it is utmost necessary to have a liquidity pool on EOS chain..Thanks - BBS Soldier

$BBS Token staking 7th Quarter finished 630+ Days of staking experience | No DAO power yet? VOTE
Hello BBSers,well just a week back we finished 7th quarter of staking $BBS token almost 2 years finished to the token staking.. Members and Stakers who have staked for 14 quarters must have recieved more than 2-3 or even 4x return to their initial amount in this 7 quarters.. the higher the token staking the higher the returns..Currently BBS token staking is just behaving like a Fixed Deposit with compounding interest return more benificial if you restake your tokens every quarter.. but the problem here is the ETH Gas and it is surely annoying as sometimes it shows ridiculos gas fees for transaction sometimes even higher then the reward/claim amount most of times you have to wait for days and check everyday to wait for the ETH gas price to get lowered.. i never paid more than 4-5$ at max for transaction fees in last 7 quarters but again i have to check it everyday and every few hours and keep my eyes on the ETH Gas fees tracker which is time consuming and not everybody will have time to wait and check everyday..i have kept the sum of the ETH gas fees i have paid in last 7 quarters is around 40-50$ + the initial token locking amount around 25$ so all in all i have paid around 60-70$ in just ETH gas fees while my token staking amount which was in 4 figures (BBS token Price) has drastically come down around 95% drop and in 3 digits now so sometimes i question is it really worth staking as you can see in the below screenshot.. Every quarter around 10 million $BBS tokens are distributed to token stakers while the total BBS tokens locked are almost 50 million so the reward gonna get distribute less and less to all which is a big concern now on very first quarter the TVL was around 23 Million tokens which now also doubled to around 50 Million tokens while the token distribution is still the same 10 million tokens every quarter.. so if you do quick math there is 5:1 ratio for token distribution and 7 quarters x 10 million means around 70 million tokens have already distributed in 630 days to token stakers..Huge whales have staked their tokens in millions some i can see 10-20 or even 30 million tokens so surely it is a top heavy situation here and if BBS DAO gets launched which we are waiting for a loooong time now there is no news or communication around BBS DAO much and no idea when that will get launched but with the low number of daily active users on platform it is surely not gonna happen in near future unless we have atleast 100k+ daily active users here and more people have voting power and have their say in governance of BBS platform and token.. right now the whales can easily overtake and take decision in their own favour with their higher voting powerin this 7 quarters we have only 2 proposals made that too by team first was BBS DAO introduction and 2nd was for initial liquidity on EOS chain for BBS Token on EOS chain and security for BBS Token on Bancor which was approved and voted by 6 stakers last year 15 june 2022 (last proposal) i have added the link in photo description incase you want to check it... DAOs work structure will have to reassigned with new methods so it encourages more members to participate and have their say and i feel BBS Token stakers should have way to send their own proposals to presented to BBS DAO and by voting the DAO members can decide to whether have that proposal/suggestion get approved or not it will involve community and help BBS DAO members get more involved also bring their community to be part of the DAO but here the voting power is still a concern..My goal to stake my tokens was to earn APR% and also be part of DAO but looking at current situation yes i have doubled my tokens but at the other end $BBS token losing 95%+ its value since i staked has made a major impact and even with my double tokens i am no where near to my initial token staking price lol which is a sad scene and i am sure this is the case with not only me but with majority of the users who staked and early investors who bought during cooper launch or on ICO,SHO back in 2021 now if $BBS token atleast show some uptrend and get back to the Initial offering price when it got launched 0.033$ then only the stakers and early investors will get joy and cover their ETH gas fees TX amount + Time given on the staking 630 days is a long time TBH its a patience game.. many early investors with huge BBS bag have staked and i see many of them hold their biiiiiiiggg bags in $BBS token still surely they to are facing big blow as token price is way down then what they invested so they have not recieved any profit by holding for 2 years but i am hopeful that with 2023 Quarter 4 about to end in just few weeks there will be new energy going forward to Q1 2024 .. BBS Roadmap is not being followed since the start is very big concern .. we were promised for SDK release,Live Video hosting,BBS app external promotion this year which are not being followed team create hype and then all of sudden goes away and only return when we complain and make post about it still we dont get reasonable or acceptable response for it..i hope team redifine their goals by psting the 2024 roadmap and this time actually follow it there are many crucial updates which are pending from 2022 roadmapwith everything on hold right now i hope when the funding get secured and external partnerships are accepted we will thrive but its all in the hands of team and they have to proactively do alot of work and think and do beyond traditional ways.. they have to lead the way in Web3 SocialFi world and capitalize and do what other similar Web3 SocialFi apps which are now in hundreds are not doing..This was my personal opinion and my take on the BBS Staking and my concerns if you think i missed anything please comment down and let all of BBS members know what should be the way going forward..Thanks for reading..- BBS Soldier

Hello BBSers GMwell finally the Daily member visiting BBS has gone down below 500..Today marks the lowest turn out on BBS platform 485 in total if we minus the each single member visiting different board thus adding in to unique members then we may even fall below 100-150 actual members or maybe lower than that.. it is indeed saddening to see the numbers keep falling drastically and it seems most board owners have drained their motivation and will to push this platform and their boards outside the BBS and it is really tough to get new members join this platform..9 out 10 EM approved boards are failing to meet the EM criteria and many boards are on probation since the last EM T7 cycle.. with the things happening in israel is on the verge of War i hope things get better there at israel.. it seems the devlopment and the updates gonna be delayed here not sure whats coming months in Q4 gonna look like? but the progress here has been stagnant since the start of Q1-Q2 this year.. the roadmap has already been delayed and there seems no traction towards app downloads and no attention is built by team towards making the platform reach to masses..the future seems darker than ever.. $BBS token value has dropped almost 95.67% since ATH 2 years back and now trading around 0.005-0.007 sub cents since a long time with no one buying in large volume or having whales taking any risk to get in.. in 2 years of token launch we have never even got closed to the initial token launch price of 0.033 cents... the token chart graph looks very bad to attract investors TBH what do you think ? is this the last bottom in for BBS or are we gonna fall even lower than this? i would love to know your opinion in comments..- BBS Soldier

Hello BBSers, Well first thing i look every morning when i visit this platform is the Daily Unique Members numbers on Rewards table to see whether we are slowly progressing or not? Its been several months and i havent seen we crossing 780 mark last few months we are seeing daily unique members around 490 being the lowest and 780-831 being highest which tell the story and growth on this platform.. All owners and users have done their best to bring whatever little traffic they can to this platform nothing seems to workout it seems in past almost a year time i have hardly seen any new member joining us at metabbs and have engaged or participated here its the same 10-12 enthusiastic users like me who post and engage few have now even stopped bothering and posting as they dont see any future .. it is surely demotivating to keep getting same engagement from same people over the year now and the debate is never ending.. All debates and posts are about the numbers on this platform and asking team to do something to actually grow the platform .. Do you think BBS team should sponser influencers/YouTube channel and content creators to talk about BBS platform and its usecase and tell their viewers and listeners to join BBS platform? Or you are against the idea of promoting and advertising BBS platform? Please vote in the poll.. If you are against the idea of promoting and advertising bbs to mass audience? I would love to know ur opinion what other ways this platform can get growth in userbase? Please comment i would love to know ur ideas..
