Ok, we are all aware the Numbers on BBS in regards to Unique users just keeps falling.
4 months ago we were at around 10,000 unique users.
3 months ago 7,500 unique users.
Last week 3,200 users.
This week we seem to be sticking around the 2,700 mark.
We are losing around 3-500 users weekly, which to me is pretty alarming.
How long can this realistically go on before the platform dies completely?
Now the App was scheduled 📅 for release weeks ago according to the Roadmap, and this is one of the big reasons I feel many are still holding on.
Its been stated that when the App is released we will have a pretty large advertising campaign alongside it.
Though if it takes to long what will be left to advertise?
I enjoy the platform, I've made some amazing friends along the way. We have a nice variation in boards with topics i genuinely enjoy participating in. Whether its reading, debating or posting.
Though numbers and trends dont tend to lie, we need to stop the rot. The only way this is possible is to get the BBS name out there.
Now as members the only ways we can do this is by sharing the name with friends or on social media.
BBS can do this in other ways:
✔️ Releasing the App (when ready) - with a large advertising campaign.
✔️ Advertising the release of the app - when its due, something to stir up interest, getting the name out there prior.
✔️ Working with influencers - like they did with Crypto Banter.
✔️ Using their own Social media pages - their twitter game is weak.
✔️ Giving current users some hope for the future. A game plan.
Now in regards to selling BBS to the masses I'm curious to what their approach is!
Post2Earn is no longer the path they want to take, i get it. This attracted the wrong people to the platform and encouraged unwanted behaviours.
Though I ask how do they want us, the member to sell BBS. What makes BBS different from other Legacy Social Medias?
As many I want the Network to succeed, Ive put alot of time and effort into this platform and personally have taken little out of it.
Timing is key for certain projects to become a success, I think we are getting to a point where that timing is now.
Whats the plan BBS?
