Quarter 2 of the BBS staking rewards were just distributed! 10,000,000 BBS tokens across all stakeholders were given. 

At the time of this post, 27.9 million BBS tokens are locked, with more being restaked frequently!

Speaking of restaking, if you're a stakeholder then feel free to take your time to restake. You can initiate your restake at any point in the quarter and receive full rewards for the quarter, as long as you don't claim it first.

If the Ethereum network is busy (like it is now), gas prices will be higher, so you can wait for lower gas prices to restake without any penalty of time being lost in the quarter.

By waiting until lower activity periods, you can cut your gas fees by half or even more when restaking or creating Ethereum transactions.

Using this handy chart, we can see exactly when gas prices tend to be lower. Time your transactions to save on fees!

On a side note, the Ethereum merge is less than a month away. We could see massive drops in gas prices after. With Ethereum being the network of the BBS token (and a bunch of other decentralized projects) I can't wait to see how it plays out!
