So before this competition was announced I actually never heard of any other WEB 3 Social Media platform so I have had to do some googling to learn more about whats out there. 

1 platform I came across is call DIAMOND and I found a few areas that are comparable so wanted to share.

Getting Set Up:

So with BBS NETWORK we know we can get set up using just an Email but to have more benefits then we need to connect through something like Facebook in order to verify ourselves.

With DIAMOND I found the option to sign up was only with Email and then you were sent a seed phrase to save. Once complete you then had to verify with your phone number in order to earn $1 of $DESO which is the platforms currency. They send you a text with a code to contimue.

I think this is something that could be added to BBS NETWORK in order to verify people.

Setting up your profile: 

Set up on Diamond was pretty easy just like BBS NETWORK. Although once you set up your profile you HAVE to FOLLOW at least 5 people to continue.

I think a FOLLOW button is a must for BBS NETWORK and I have created a post about this before as it will for sure allow us to keep track of peoples content we enjoy.

Once set up there is a screen explaining what you can do with the $DESO Token and also has a button to Buy Tokens. 

What I would take from this would be having a Video Tutorial or Tutorials explaining how to use all the different parts to BBS NETWORK & also having a button that people can buy BBS TOKENS straight up.

The DIAMOND platform:

Once I got onto the platform what I noticed is that the interface is very much like Facebook as you can see below.

So compared to BBS NETWORK they do have tipping which you can see in the DIAMOND below. 

They have a FOLLOWING tab so that you can just see posts from people you are following. This is something I would like to see implemented into BBS.

The have a BUY button just like we now PROMOTE posts.

Personally I like how they have a menu on the side but I am also thinking is that because I am used to seeing the Facebook layout. It is something that could be worth looking into with BBS later on about having some sort of menu rather than just the tabs on top. 

Something I spotted on this platform was that they have a wallet. You can see below that their wallet has an address which I am sure means you can send or receive coins directly from exchanges.

This is something I would really like to see with BBS NETWORK and then also have staking directly from that wallet.

Something else I spotted is that they have a Tutorial Button which when you press it you actually have to BUY their Token ($0.01c) in order to access it. 

It is only a very small fee which I think isnt good as people want to know exactly how the platform works before making a decision if they would invest anything into it.

So overall there is definitly a few take aways I would like to see implemented into BBS NETWORK after this review.
