What is data theft and how is it happening to us?

Sorry for the click bait title if you have come for data theft by bbs, it's not about that data theft basically means collection and using someone's personal or professional data without their permission and it's happening to us since the day we started using centralised social media platforms where large companies like facebook and Instagram are using our personal information to make money by sharing it with companies for marketing purpose and that's one of the main reasons why social media platforms are free 

How bbs is solving it?

Well bbs doesn't harvest it's users personal data other than some basic account creation information like other platforms who record each and every move you make and location  details and one thing I'm surprised about bbs is that it doesn't show personalised marketing advertisements or ads that harm the users in any way if followed up further but I'm still not sure how the backend profit funnel works and it's something you should worry about only in the longterm
