Buying a pinned post, after 3 weeks, was it worth it? Has things changed?

This is by far my best buy in terms of clicks. In the time it was mine and pinned it racked well over 350 clicks and so far, something like 2 weeks later is up to 400, so at least for a while it also is a steady stream of money.

But it is worth the price? Are there alternatives?

Well introduces this week are the posts of the week and to my surprise, my winning post got another 15 or so clicks since it was talked about in the pinned post, I suppose, though I have no way to check that the 2 other posts linked there are the same way. If so it may be a cheaper, more sustainable way of gaining a few good clicks. After all if my pinned post costs almost $360, I can buy maybe 6 to 12 winning posts with the same amount depending on how people fight for it. Especially knowing I got my pinned post relatively for cheap compared to some other weeks.

As a conclusion I don't regret my buy at all. It's the easiest $30 I've made but you may want to look for slightly more work intensive, cheaper alternative especially if you struggle making loads of community cash.

Talking of which, here are tips to help building community cash:

I didn't think I needed to make this guide but I keep seeing people ask about it so here we go!I was personally saving up for the pinned post on METABBS so I can tell you all about that. It took actually longer than I thought to buy it simply because I made a bit of a mistake buying an Eyal post I assumed was going to be pinned and didn't. So once that's out of the way let's explain a few things about community money and cashable.You may have realized that you get free money each day. $1 community. if you want to build your cash this isn't going to cut it but that's still $1 if you're not really active. Then there's the extra $1 each day for buying a post. Especially if you're not very active try to find a post bellow average price of just at $0.3 and buy it.I'm not saying buy anything but even if that post got hidden, still $1.7 on the day if that's your only action of the day isn't too bad. That's not cashable though. It's just an idea if you're struggling on a board you don't post on often, you can just build that up a little every day at almost zero time cost.Now let's bring in the real guns. Each time your buy a post and get impressions or get impressions on a post you published you get the adserver pop up in your notification. I also have seen people asking if that is purely cashable so I'll answer that too. No that is 1.07 community cash and cashable. Which means that say you spend only what you gain from other sources, you would never fall behind.The point here is to avoid this type of situation But what if you're already in it because you got too heated in a fight for a post. Well you have a couple solutions with different risk rewards.1) The buyerYou buy any cheap post using observation to see at which level you are certain a post is still going to be bought from you, getting from maybe 10 to 30 or 40 cents of benefit per post. But the downside if you're likely missing out on impressions and it can be time consuming.NOTE: I am not saying this is good mannered, just a strategy you could employ 2) The beggar I don't like this method, I only respond positively to this with newer users that have the cashable for whitelist and suddenly realize they also needed community cash to request whitelist and I know how long it's got now. I'm not even sure how legal asking for money on different boards is. I more or less wanted to clarify it here more than tell you it's okay to do so.3) The authorThat's my favorite mean of crating community cash. You make posts, good quality posts and just let them run their course. I know I have tutorials about importance of self ownership to create more money through impressions but this is another type of tutorial. This is about balancing your sheets. After all what's the point of getting more cashable if you're just spending all your community cash and never being able to withdrawing?The drawback of all of those is that you can't just look at a post and say oooooh shiny and buy it, you need to show restraint and wait until goal is met to go back to normal.
