So a conversation was had today between the Network and BBS owners about "Partnership"
This conversation has already been shared on the board, whether this was wanted or not this is now out there for all to see.
Like members, Boards also have requirements and directives that need to be followed. Thus ensuring we are all moving in the same direction towards the Networks greater goal of adoption.
With me being the Owner of SportX I have had to set my Communities intentions moving forward. I wanted to do this early due to wanting clarity for the members who wish to be part of the SportX family.
I also would like to share my intentions here, as these are what have been set by the Network and will likely be implemented across the Network as a whole.
BELOW IS PART OF THE POST I'VE PUBLISHED IN SPORTX WHICH YOU MAY READ TO GAIN A UNDERSTANDING OF THE NETWORKS DIRECTIVE.
PARTNERSHIP WITHIN SPORTX, WHAT I NEED MEMBERS TO UNDERSTAND.
SPORTX, as directed by the BBS Network owners will only be Partnering long term, high contributing and high quality content producers.
The Network wants to move away from a mentality that is driven by money alone, and one that is driven by the interest of a specific boards topics.
A Partner gets 90% of the Ad Revenue from the content they share, these select few members will be the ones the board requires to keep content and interest high.
If members are here, or in any board for the single purpose of becoming a "Partner" I would suggest that it's not the board for them. Partnering members to soon encourages unwanted activities within specific boards and in SportX we want to move away from this kind of behavior.
Thus as advised by the BBS Network, Partnership will be kept as a premium to our highest contributing members.
Only between 5-10% of board members will achieve this privilege.
Please do not confuse high quality contribution as volume of content and time spent posting.
High quality contribution is the quality of posts, interaction and general interest within the boards topics.
TO ADD TO THIS IT WAS ALSO SUGGESTED TO PROMOTE WAYS OF REWARDING MEMBERS WHO CONTRIBUTE THOUGH DO NOT FALL INTO "TOP CONTRIBUTORS"

So to summarise only 5-10% of members across all boards in future will only be considered for Partnership.
I'm fully aware this will likely cause unrest in the community. Though if boards fail to follow the directive and vision set out by the Network, those boards will likely lose the funding they have worked hard to achieve.
The BBS Network have made it clear that they are expecting to lose more members. The members that they believe are here for the wrong intentions. Which I personally am inclined to agree with.
Going forward we have Phase 5, which is bringing earning from interaction. How this will work is still to be made apparent though is another incentive for unpartnered members to earn.
We will also see the release of the App and a large Advertising campaign which should see a rise in the Networks traffic.
How this will play out in regards to the success of the Network is yet to be seen. Though i do believe it will increase genuine interaction and interest within boards chosen topics. As well as repelling the members here soley for financial gain.
We will likely see a further drop in Traffic, prior to seeing a increase again post phase 5/App release.
