The Ohio State Buckeyes will receiver a huge boost in the team's secondary unit on Saturday against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Senior safety and nickel Lorenzo Styles sustained an injured against the Minnesota Golden Gophers in early October, causing him to miss the games against Illinois and Wisconsin. Earlier this week, head coach Ryan Day told reporters that he expected Styles to play on Saturday and that he is progressing well in his recovery.
The hope of the coaching staff, Buckeye fans and players is true, as Styles is off the injury report and is ready to go against Penn State.

While there are no headline names on that list, there are two names that stand out above the rest. Malik Hartford is one of the names that continues to jump off the sheet. He hasn't played in a game since the Buckeyes took on Ohio University in early September. Hartford is a player who could become a true difference-maker in the years to come.

The other notable name on the list is wide receiver Quincy Porter. Porter has shown promise in his limited reps this year, tallying three catches on the year for 45 yards. While those numbers are negligible at best, Porter is viewed as one of the playmakers who are next up in the wide receiver room.
Saturday would have been a great opportunity for each of these players, but they will miss out on it.
Contrary to pervious season, the state of the Buckeyes roster so far this year is remarkable.
Last year at this time, they were one of the most injured teams in all of college football. Day had already cycled through at least four iterations of the offensive line and were facing nagging injuries elsewhere.
This year, it is a completely different story.
Through 10 weeks, the Buckeyes have largely avoided any major injuries. With one month remaining in the regular season, they would certainly like to keep it this way.
While Ohio State has dominated the record in this rivalry, the games that make up the lopsided result have been instant classics. The goal-line stop last year, J.T.'s takeover years ago, J.T. Barrett's perfection to beat star running back Saquon Barkley, and so many other examples.
