Can the Green Bay Packers overcome adversity against a struggling Arizona Cardinals squad? Find out who has the edge and more.

This is a big game for the Green Bay Packers. In theory, it should be one the 3-1-1 Packers easily win. The Arizona Cardinals are 2-4 and they've lost four games in a row. Their franchise quarterback, Kyler Murray, isn't playing with a foot sprain. Their star player, wideout Marvin Harrison Jr., will play, but he's fresh off concussion protocol.

In the meantime, the Packers are expected to be without two key defensive players in Devonte Wyatt and Lukas Van Ness. Star running back Josh Jacobs is also considered to be a game-time-decision as he battles an illness and a calf injury.

What that means is that this one could end up being a fight for the Packers. As you prepare to watch this game, he's all the pertinent info you'll need.

Key Matchup: Packers' running backs vs. Cardinals' run defense:

Even if Josh Jacobs can't play in this one, the Packers have to feel good about what the combination of Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks can do in this game (with some Jordan Love scrambling sprinkled in).

Against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6, the Cardinals gave up 150 total rushing yards. That included 123 yards and a touchdown by Jonathan Taylor, but quarterback Daniel Jones also got in on the action with five rushes for 20 yards and a touchdown. Against the Seattle Seahawks a few weeks before that, the Cardinals gave up 155 total rushing yards.

This is a rushing defense that can be susceptible to giving up chunks of yardage at a time, so Packers head coach Matt LaFleur would be wise to keep his foot on the gas pedal with the rushing game.

At the same time, if Jacobs can't go and the Cardinals play strong up front, he can't be afraid to let Jordan Love let it fly.

Key Quote: Jordan Love on picking up yardage with his feet

“I think that’s something that I had to focus on coming into the season was trying to use my legs more and extend some of these plays,” Love said, according to Bill Huber of OnSI. “Obviously, last year, was dealing with some things so I wasn’t moving around as much, so it’s definitely been a big emphasis for me and it’s been huge to be able to extend some of these plays, especially on third-and-short. So, just got to keep trying to find ways to do that but I think it’s been great.”

    Prediction:

31-10, Packers win and improve to 4-1-1
