These three Green Bay Packers must step up this weekend so that the team can walk away from the desert with a win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The Green Bay Packers are 3-1-1. Even though that record looks a bit funny and these past few games have been a bit underwhelming, if not straight-up disappointing, they're in a good spot.

The Packers currently lead the 4-2 Detroit Lions for first place in the NFC North and if you look at the "thousand foot view" at the NFC standings, they're the second-seed in the NFC right now behind only the 5-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This is a team with the offensive and defensive firepower to win a Super Bowl, but we need to see them start to play consistent football. Heck, earlier this week, head coach Matt LaFleur said he doesn't think this team has played a complete game, yet.

"I don’t think we’ve played a complete game up to date," LaFleur said, according to Ryan Wood of Packers News. We’ve had moments in each phase that have been really good, but to do it collectively for four quarters, I don’t think we’ve really done that. And we’re going to need to do that against a really strong football team.”

That "really strong football team" LaFleur mentioned is the 2-4 Arizona Cardinals, who are riding a four-game losing skid. This is a game the Packers should win, but the Cardinals are going to be desperate and it's always tough to win on the road in the NFL.

These three players must step up for the Packers:

Micah Parsons needs to take his frustration out on the Arizona Cardinals

Star pass-rusher Micah Parsons was very bold earlier this week when calling out the NFL and specifically, NFL officiating, for favoring the offense over the defense in game. He was so demonstrative about his thoughts that he very well may get fined, but he's got plenty of money in the bank now to back that talk up.

Speaking of backing it up, if Parsons wants to vent his frustrations in the media, that's fine as long as he and the Packers find a way to overcome the constant double and triple teams to finally get some sacks on the board.

Parsons is a good enough rusher to make an impact even when he's not getting to the quarterback, but it would be great to see him double his 2.5 sacks on the season against Arizona.

It's time for rookie wideout Matthew Golden to find the end zone for the Packers

It's easy to see that rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden has the "goods" to be a star in this league. He already runs veteran routes, he has great hands, and he has the over-the-top speed to take the lid off even the softest of coverage.

The one thing we haven't seen from him in his rookie season is a touchdown, though, so it's about time he breaks out of that slump to find the end zone. He's developing an undeniable connection with Jordan Love, but now it's time to punch it in.

Keisean Nixon needs to prove he can be CB1 for the Green Bay Packers

Keisean Nixon has talked some big talk about being a CB1 and being more than just a kick returner in the NFL, but he needs to go out and back that talk up consistnetly.

He's shown flashes of greatness this season. His five pass breakups against the Washington Commanders were exactly the type of performance you look for in a no-doubt CB1.

He notched two passes defended in the past two games, but he was also burnt multiple times as well. That happens when you're a cornerback, and that's why you have to have a short memory to play in the NFL. Still, the Packers could use another star game from Nixon in this one, though. If Nixon and the cornerback group can step up, that will only help Parsons and the pass-rush get after the quarterback this weekend.
