The Green Bay Packers have done it. After beating the Chicago Bears, 28-21, in Week 14 at Lambeau Field, they're now once again the top team in the NFC North.
If it feels like it's been a while since the Packers were the "Kings of the North", it's because it has been a while. The last time they won the division was in 2021 when Aaron Rodgers was still the quarterback in playing at an MVP level.
Not to get ahead of things, the Pack still has to hold on to this top spot. The Bears gave them a run for their money on Sunday evening, and they have to play again in two weeks.
This thing is not wrapped up and it's not closed to being wrapped up, but in a game that ultimately could have gone either way, the Packers made the plays it took to win the game.
The offense cooked when it needed to, especailly late in the fourth quarter, and the defense slammed the door shut.
The Packers are now 9-3-1. They're on a four-game winning streak and they are now 4-0 against NFC North opponents.
Again, there's still a ton of work to do, but for now, we celebrate with a look at the four stars of this massive win.
Honorable Mention #1: Josh Jacobs with 20 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Honorable Mention #2: Micah Parsons with seemingly a billion pressures on Caleb Williams .
Outside of the very last play of the game, Keisean Nixon had a bit of a tough contest. He was called (fairly or not) for two tough penalties that extended drives for the Bears, and he was beat for a touchdown.
When it mattered and the game was on the line, though, Nixon was in the right place at the right time and he made the game-sealing interception.
You've got to give Nixon credit. He may not be a true CB1, but he's been good for the Packers this season and his ability to come up in this spot despite his struggles earlier in the game should be commended.
If you didn't know that Jayden Reed has been out since Week 2 with a broken collarbone, would you have ever noticed with the way that he played in this one?
Reed saw the field for the first time since September 11th and it looks like he hasn't even missed beat.
He looked fast, shifty and engaged. Clearly, head coach Matt LaFleur drew up some plays for Reed, and he capitalized on all of his opportunities.
He caught four passes on four targets for 31 yards. He also rushed in twice for 22 yards, averaging 11 yards a pop.
Reed being back is going to add a very exciting element back into this offense.
Jordan Love threw an interception in the first quarter that was a head-scratcher, to say the least, but he forgot about that quickly and ended up having a great game against the Bears.
He completed 17-of-25 passes for 234 yards, three touchdowns, and the interception mentioned above.
Love finished with a quarterback rating of 120.7, and two of his three touchdown throws were great displays of why he could find himself in the MVP race when all is said and done this season.
Christian Watson is big, fast and strong. He's an elite athlete, and that's always been the case ever since the Packers selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
What's new for Watson in 2025 is that he's clearly healthy after a strong rehab from an ACL injury he suffered at the end of last season, and he's clearly gained a ton of confidence.
Much like Micah Parsons is clearly the best athlete on the field anytime he's out there for Green Bay's defense, the same can be said for Watson on offense.
He finished this game with four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 22.3 yards per catch.
Mind you, Watson is a 6-foot-4, 208 pound wideout who can do this:
Watson has now caught 25 passes for 452 yards and five touchdowns since returning to the field in late October.
He's becoming a superstar before our very eyes.
