However, despite that, there’s still plenty of bats out there on the market, but don’t expect the Rangers to be chomping at the bit to shell out some money to add one.

The Texas Rangers lineup will look much different in 2026 after their lack of offensive production cost them a chance at returning to the postseason in 2025.

World Series heroes Marcus Semien, Adolis Garcia, and Jonah Heim will all be moving onto different teams, and the Rangers will have some new regulars in the lineup.

Ten-year MLB veteran Brandon Nimmo figures to be an offensive pillar for the Rangers in 2026 after being brought over from the Mets in the Semien trade.

In addition to Nimmo, Texas also brought in veteran catcher Danny Jansen to split time with Kyle Higashioka and form the Rangers duo behind the plate.

However, despite that, there’s still plenty of bats out there on the market, but don’t expect the Rangers to be chomping at the bit to shell out some money to add one.

With Nimmo coming in to fill Garcia’s place, Jansen filling Heim’s, and the Rangers feeling like they can internally fill the second base void left by Marcus Semien, it certainly seems that Texas has done the majority of their offensive shopping.

Still, the Rangers will certainly be monitoring the market and could add in a cheaper bat or two before Spring Training opens.

Despite any major additions, the Rangers feel that they have what they need in-house to have a competitive lineup.

As was the case last season, the Rangers biggest proponent of offensive success will be resources from players already in the clubhouse.

Perhaps the biggest factor in taking the Texas offense to the next level will be getting bounce-back seasons from corner infielders Jake Burger and Josh Jung, who both struggled mightily in 2025.

Health, as always, will be a big factor after pretty much every key lineup piece saw time on the IL last season.

Ultimately, the Rangers feel they have the pieces to return to their 2023 offensive glory; now it’s just a matter of execution.
