In some positive Texans injury news, according to KPRC2's Texans Insider Aaron Wilson, the Texans are expected to designate tight end Cade Stover for return to action as soon as "this week".
Houston has missed their big target for nine weeks, as Stover went down with a broken foot in week one against the Los Angeles Rams. In his place, the Texans tried using replacement tight end Harrison Bryant to attempt to make up for the projected loss in production.
In his lone contest against the Rams this season, Stover had four receptions for 22 yards and no scores.
During his rookie year with Houston, Stover hauled in 15 receptions on 22 targets for 133 yards and a touchdown
With an increased emphasis on featuring the tight end position, offensive coordinator Nick Caley might have a field day with his re-integration to the offense.
