Is Jadarian Price on the Texans' Radar as a Day Two Pick in Next Month's Draft?

Quoting NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper Jr., Texans Roundtable's own Drew Collings illustrated how former Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price could be a game-changing option for the team ahead of next month's Draft. He explains,  "Price is an intriguing prospect. He’s shown excellent flashes when given the opportunity in South Bend. Kiper is bullish on him and believes he is far greater than his collegiate production. “He's a powerful runner who plays a one-cut-and-go brand of football,” Kiper wrote. “There are ball security concerns (four lost fumbles over three years), and we haven't seen a ton from him as a pass catcher, but Price is dynamic. He ran for 11 touchdowns, caught two TD passes and scored two more times on kickoff returns last season.”Mar 28, 2026

JSN's New Contract Helps Confirm Nico Collins' Deal as One the Best Values in the NFL

The wide receiver market has just been reset again, this time courtesy of the Seattle Seahawks rewarding their breakout star with a record setting contract. Being broken by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Super Bowl champion receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks agreed on a massive four-year, $168.6 million contract ($120 million guaranteed), making him the highest paid receiver in NFL history.  Averaging 42.15 million per year, Smith-Njigba clears former leader Ja'Marr Chase by about $2 million per season.  On a Houston Texans note, this deal helps to confirm Nico Collins as one of the best value deals in the NFL, seeing as though he now ranks 16th overall at the position at $24.25 million per year. Mar 24, 2026

How Many Wins for the Texans After Free Agency Moves?

Last season, the Houston Texans went 12-5 even with an offense that was considered mediocre at best, and disastrous at worst.  Specifically, it was due to having no rushing attack, a patchwork offensive line, a brand new offensive coordinator and growing pains displayed by third-year quarterback C.J Stroud. In free agency, the Texans addressed these issues by trading for running back David Montgomery, signing several notable offensive linemen (Braden Smith, Evan Brown, Wyatt Teller) and acquiring tight end help with Foster Moreau.  Ahead of the draft, how many wins do you think were added with some of these moves? Mar 22, 2026

Texans Finally Solidify OL with Teller Addition. More to Come?

The Houston Texans finally landed two-time All-Pro guard Wyatt Teller today, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport. With his addition, Houston now has a more-than-competitive starting unit that looks the type of "improved" that many had hoped for heading into free agency. Now, the team turns its attention to the NFL draft, where they can spend premium capital on players who can further supercharge their Super Bowl chances in 2026.  Defensive tackle could be the pick at #28. Did the Texans Do Enough to Address the Offensive Line so Far?

So far in free agency, the Houston Texans have made several moves to address the offensive line. The question is, has it been sufficient thus far? To date, they have: - Re-signed G Ed Ingram - Re-signed T Trent Brown - Signed T Braden Smith - Signed G Evan Brown That now gives them a possible left-to-right offensive line configuration of Aireontae Ersery, Evan Brown, Jake Andrews, Ed Ingram and Braden Smith. Texans Have an Active Day on 2nd Day of Legal Tampering

Here is a brief recap of today's acqusitions by the Texans: - OT Braden Smith - LB/ST Jake Hummel - DE Logan Hall Along with them, the Texans made kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn the highest paid kicker in the NFL and traded with the New Orleans Saints for punter Kai Kroeger. It was a busy day for general manager Nick Caserio, as he finally made more investment in the offensive line and prioritized essential depth across all three phases of the team. Texans Must Improve Offensive Line Starting Tomorrow

After freeing up tens of millions of dollars in cap space after restructuring and extending several roster contracts, the Texans are in line to spend big on free agents once the NFL's legal tampering period begins tomorrow afternoon. The Texans Have a Clearer Path to AFC South Crown With Chaos Brewing in Indianapolis

After the Indianapolis Colts transition tagged quarterback Daniel Jones today, wide receiver Alec Pierce is now in line to test the free agency market on March 11th.  Worst case scenario, the Colts quite possibly lose both Pierce and Jones to teams who offer them more money than the Colts can/will match. Additionally, quarterback Anthony Richardson is already prepared to depart from the franchise, as he and the team agreed that a trade for a new beginning would be good for Richardson's career.  With all that chaos ensuing, the Houston Texans now face a reality in which the AFC South could very well be a two-team race (them and the Jacksonville Jaguars) before the season even begins. Last season, the Jaguars went 13-4, the Texans went 12-5, the Colts went 8-9 and the Tennessee Titans went 3-14. Mar 4, 2026

Texans Vs. Commanders in London for 2026 Season Might be Set

Although not officially confirmed, the Houston Texans may be facing the Washington Commanders. This was the sentiment of Houston Chronicle writer Michael Shapiro, when he stated, " An official NFL UK & Ireland account on X published a video on Wednesday titled "Can you guess the 2026 NFL London Games team?" In the video, the Commanders were officially announced as one participant after three paint injections into a bowl of water revealed Washington's red color (Washington's logo was then also presented on-screen). The other team was still kept a mystery, though red, white and blue paint was shot into the bowl." Later, Shapiro explained that the Texans were one of only two teams on Washington's 2026 schedule with that color scheme. The other team would be the New York Giants. Seeing as though it's likely that Washington and New York would play their divisional games in their respective stadiums, it's a safe bet to say that Houston is the pick. Mar 1, 2026

Colts Open Contract Talks with Daniel Jones. Should That Concern Stroud?

Reports have surfaced stating that the Indianapolis Colts have begun contract negotiations with quarterback Daniel Jones.  Although Jones didn't finish the 2025 season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon, he still made enough of an impact with the Colts to warrant a new contract opportunity.  Conversely, there's still no official word of open dialogue between the Houston Texans and their quarterback in C.J. Stroud. Even though many agree that Stroud is better as an option the Jones, he hasn't been formally approached about a new deal (at least not publicly). The NFL Combine has finally arrived, and the Houston Texans will presumably be very much involved in scouting and assessing prospects throughout the event.  In particular, offensive line is seen by many as the singular most urgent matter when it comes to whether or not the team improves in 2026.  Names like Oregon's Emmanuel Pregnon (guard), Alabama's Kadyn Proctor (tackle) and Georgia Tech's Keylan Rutledge (guard) are all circled as being some of the top players to look out for in April's draft.  We should be on the lookout for their impact come this week's affair at Lucas Oil Stadium. Feb 22, 2026
