
Last season, the Houston Texans went 12-5 even with an offense that was considered mediocre at best, and disastrous at worst.
Specifically, it was due to having no rushing attack, a patchwork offensive line, a brand new offensive coordinator and growing pains displayed by third-year quarterback C.J Stroud.
In free agency, the Texans addressed these issues by trading for running back David Montgomery, signing several notable offensive linemen (Braden Smith, Evan Brown, Wyatt Teller) and acquiring tight end help with Foster Moreau.
