Texans’ head coach DeMeco Ryans recently appeared on a podcast to discuss how much he misses Jalen Pitre.

“We all miss him a ton. Jalen gives us so much flexibility of what we’re capable of doing on defense. We were able to stay nickel defense to whatever a team may throw at us, and we had our entire playbook at our disposal.”

The Houston Texans enter their bye week at 2–5 after a frustrating overtime loss to the New York Giants, and Halk examines what must change before this season slips further away. From offensive inconsistency to defensive breakdowns, this episode moves beyond the final score to explain Houston’s biggest problems.

The Houston Texans are building momentum, and their offense is getting more intriguing. After consecutive victories, Houston returns home to face the New York Giants with C.J. Stroud playing confident football, Tank Dell preparing for his return and Marvin Harrison Jr. stepping into a larger role.

JJ Watt turns his temporary role at NFL on CBS into a permanent gig.

Tank Dell spoke to reporters about how he knew he was “back” from his injury.

“When I got hurt. Yep. Had that mindset as soon as I got hurt. I’m gonna be back. In all honesty, probably like a month ago I was like ‘alright, there it go, it’s turning over so I feel good now.‘“

The Texans have already ruled out starting running back David Montgomery, starting safety Jalen Pitre, and wide receiver Tank Dell for Sunday's contest in London.

The Marvin Harrison Jr. era in Houston is upon us. After a disappointing tenure with the Arizona Cardinals, Harrison will look to see if a change of scenery, and quarterback, can propel his young career.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans gave an update on the newcomer, saying that Harrison will make his Texans debut Sunday in London against the Jaguars.

The Houston Texans finally have life. Well, sort of. On this episode of the Texans Roundtable, Halk breaks down Houston’s dominant 26-3 win over the Tennessee Titans, C.J. Stroud’s continued resurgence and the immediate impact of DeMeco Ryans taking over defensive play-calling.

That first win of the season feels. How are we feeling now Houston? Things are looking up!

The Houston Texans are 0-4, but their latest loss looked completely different from the first three.
