Former national champion and Heisman-winning quarterback Jameis Winston has donated an estimated $1 million in NIL money to Florida State, but the Seminoles' on-field success hasn't followed his generous investment.

During the interview, Winston also spoke about learning how to be a good financial steward of his earnings.

That was a hard lesson learned, he said. When it came to spending money, Winston was not exactly a miser as he dealt with financial woes as a rookie with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
