A review of the players who have received invitations to compete at the New England Patriots' 2026 rookie minicamp.
The New England Patriots hold their annual rookie minicamp on May 8-10, 2026.
In addition to their nine draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft and 12 undrafted rookie free agent signings, New England extended several invitations to unsigned rookies for tryouts at rookie minicamp. While these players haven’t inked contracts with the team, an impressive showing could lead to an entry-level deal through the summer and into training camp as part of the team’s 90-man roster.
Here’s a closer look at each of the reported invitees:
Logan Collier, WR, North Alabama
Logan Collier spent four seasons at Lindsey Wilson College before transferring to North Alabama for the 2024 season. The wide receiver and return specialist caught two passes for 39 yards and averaged 22.6 yards on 11 kickoff returns that year. The 6-foot, 203-pounder went undrafted in 2025 and spent the season with the Tampere Saints of the Finnish Maple League, where he hauled in 25 passes for 326 yards. He is now looking to earn a roster spot back in the United States after showing steady improvement as a returner and route runner overseas.
Korey Foreman, EDGE, Fresno State
Korey Foreman brings versatility to play on the edge or the interior of the defensive line, standing at 6’4” and 270 lbs. He began his college career at USC before transferring to Fresno State, where he recorded six sacks and three forced fumbles across two seasons. Foreman’s burst off the line and ability to create pressure from the interior made him a disruptive presence against Mountain West offensive lines. His experience facing Power Five competition early in his career gives him a solid foundation to develop further at the next level.
Malcolm Greene, CB, UMass
Malcolm Greene brings six full college seasons of experience after stops at Clemson, Virginia, and finally UMass. Listed at 5-foot-11 and 187 pounds, he primarily played as a perimeter cornerback and contributed heavily on special teams. He logged consistent reps in coverage and on coverage units throughout his lengthy career. Greene’s durability and versatility across multiple programs allowed him to adapt to different defensive schemes over time.
Jordan Kwiatkowski, LB, Central Michigan
Jordan Kwiatkowski earned two All-MAC selections during his time with the Chippewas. The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder appeared in 47 games with 25 starts and recorded 255 tackles, four interceptions, and three forced fumbles over his college career. His production came against a mix of Group of Five and Power Five opponents, showing steady improvement as a starter. Kwiatkowski’s tackling consistency and ability to create turnovers stood out as key strengths in the MAC.
Demarcus Lacey, WR, Marshall
Demarcus Lacey transferred to Marshall in 2025 after previous stops at North Alabama and Jacksonville State. The 6’0”, 191-pounder caught 65 passes for 769 yards and five touchdowns in his lone season with the Herd. He lined up primarily in the slot and showed reliable hands against Conference USA defenses. Lacey’s route-running polish and production in his final college season highlighted his growth as a pass catcher.
Peter Manuma, S, Hawaii
Peter Manuma brings speed to the safety position, running a 4.47-second 40-yard dash ahead of the draft. The four-time All-Mountain West honorable mention appeared in 49 games during his college career and recorded five interceptions. He earned consistent recognition for his coverage skills and range while playing for Hawaii, and flashed with good straight-line speed and ball skills that made him a reliable deep defender in the Mountain West.
Mitch McCarthy, P, Indiana
Mitch McCarthy was born in Australia and only began playing football after arriving at UCF in 2022. He transferred to Indiana in 2025 and averaged 41.6 yards per punt for the eventual national champions. His Australian background gave him a strong foundation in punting technique that translated quickly to the college level. McCarthy’s ability to flip the field consistently helped Indiana’s special teams unit during their championship run. With Bryce Baringer entering the final year of his contract, McCarthy’s late arrival could bring competition at the position heading into the summer and fall.
Eli Simonson, OT, UC Davis
Eli Simonson started 38 games at left tackle over three seasons at UC Davis. He was credited with allowing just 10 sacks during that span. The 6-foot-6 tackle possesses average arm length and will need to add strength to compete at the next level. His experience in the Big Sky Conference showed steady improvement in pass protection and run blocking as a three-year starter.
Declan Williams, LB, Incarnate Word
Declan Williams split his college career between Rhode Island and Incarnate Word, appearing in 47 games as a linebacker and special teamer. A two-time first-team All-Southland selection, he recovered three fumbles and returned an interception for a touchdown in 2025. His production came on both defense and special teams, showing versatility across multiple roles. Williams’ tackling ability and knack for creating turnovers stood out during his time in the Southland Conference.
Looking Ahead
With the addition of a punter, safety, defensive lineman, and two off-ball linebackers, New England’s rookie minicamp invitations help the team identify potential developmental options at several position groups needing an infusion of depth.
