It didn't take long, but football is officially back as every single team turns the page to the 2026 season at the NFL Scouting Combine.
The annual NFL regroup in Indianapolis is underway, and the Ducks will be littered all throughout the week's worth of workouts.
Oregon sent nine players to this year's Combine, and that is second in program history, trailing only last year's 12 players that attended. Frankly, had a couple more guys opted for the league instead of returning for an extra year, they would have had a record-setting year.
So, where and when can you hear from and watch the Ducks? The combine is actually and eight day event, and each grouping of players has a six-day evaluation period. The starts are staggered so that each day, teams are interviewing and watching different groups go through their testing. The combine actually began on Sunday, but today is the first day you will actually get to hear from the Ducks.
First up is kickers, defensive line, and the linebackers, which may be one of the most important groups for Oregon fans as Bryce Boettcher gets things started. Boettcher is an Oregon legend and, frankly, one of the best athletes in the program. He was drafted into the MLB in the 2024 draft to the Astros but is instead continuing to pursue his NFL career.
His evaluation period began on Sunday when he arrived in Indianapolis, and Wednesday will be the first time we will be able to hear from him. He will speak to the media, along with having his third day of team meetings, while checking off a couple of other boxes today. On Thursday, he will take the field for measurements and on-field testing before bench pressing on Friday and getting out of town.
This group leans heavily towards the Ducks, and it is one of the most important first-round targets in the entire draft. Oregon's tight end Kenyon Sadiq is one of the most versatile prospects in the entire draft and has the opportunity to make a lot of money for himself with a great week of testing.
In the defensive back room, the Ducks will be represented by another first-round prospect in Dillon Thieneman, who is expected to be a top-20 pick, and Jadon Canady, who is going to be a later selection.
They speak to the media on Thursday before their on-field testing day on Friday and their bench press day on Saturday before they hit the road back to Eugene.
Group three probably garners the most attention across the entire week, but will only have a couple of Duck representatives. Wide receiver Malik Benson and running back Noah Whittington will participate in this group.
They are having their second day of team interviews today and don't speak to the media until Friday, before having their on-field testing on Saturday and their bench press routine on Sunday, before hitting the road.
© Steven Bisig | 2025 Nov 29 They save the best for last. The next crop of NFL offensive lineman take over the combine in the last group. They don't get to Indianapolis until Wednesday and are here through Monday.
Their evaluations begin on Thursday, but we won't hear from them until Saturday, and they will be on the field on Sunday before benching on Monday and getting out of town. This group is the heaviest Duck group as it has three players in it. Alex Hankey, Emmanuel Pregnon and Isaiah World take center stage.
Pregnon is going to try to test well enough to work his way into first-round consideration. He is regarded as the best interior lineman in the draft, but is expected to go in round two.
