WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue has given its basketball fans a lot to cheer about in the past decade. They've been ranked No. 1 in four of the past five seasons, went to the Final Four in 2024 and are 16-1 this year.
On Wednesday night, they beat Iowa 79-72 at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, and hit a milestone of sorts. They sold all 14,000-plus seats, and it was their 100th straight sellout.
That's the longest streak in the Big Ten, and second-longest in the country behind Duke. Great job, Boilers fans.
