F1 Cadillac has made some mid-season moves, and as they say, out with the old and in with the new. Well, Marcin Budkowski isn't exactly new, and he comes to the team with a wealth of knowledge.
The 49-year-old spent 6 years with Ferrari at the beginning of his F1 career in 2001. After that, he moved to England in 2008 and worked with McLaren. He switched between the Front office and trackside operations, where he saw Lewis Hamilton win a championship.
Shortly after that, Budkowski left the competitive side and worked for the FIA. In those years, he was instrumental in the development of the Halo safety device in 2018.
Marcin Budkowski has had a long career in multiple roles. Will he be the answer to Cadillac's woes?
