Since the number 1 is reserved for the champion, Lando Norris chose to take the number 1 for the upcoming season which led people to wonder if Max would return to 33. But, Max has now confirmed he is going to race under the number 3. Verstappen has mentioned before that he really likes the number 3, but couldn’t use it because his former teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, was racing under that number, so he resorted to the number 33. Looks like Max can finally race under the number he really wanted!
