New A's Rotation Member is...

According to Chris Correa of the Turlock Journal, the A's are calling up Kade Morris from Triple-A Las Vegas. 

Morris is the A's No. 12 prospect according to MLB Pipeline. The 23-year-old right-hander is 5-3 with a 4.45 ERA in 11 starts this season, and most importantly, he's been going deeper into games. In three of his five May starts, he has gone at least six innings, which would be a huge boost for the A's right now. 

The announced starters so far for the Cubs series are Gage Jump on Tuesday and Jeffrey Springs on Wednesday. That could put him in line to either start the finale on Thursday, or one of the first two games against the Houston Astros over the weekend.
