Zack Gelof Exits Game in Detroit With Apparent Injury

In the bottom of the third inning in Detroit, A's left fielder Zack Gelof ran towards the foul line, and ended up making a sliding catch. As he slid, his knee collided with the wall in left, ripping his pants and leaving Gelof limping around the outfield. 

The A's decided to remove him from the game, with Lawrence Butler taking his spot in the lineup and playing right field. Colby Thomas moved from right to left.
