The last two seasons haven't been kind to right-handed reliever Yimi Garcia.

The Blue Jays traded Garcia to the Seattle Mariners on July 26. He ended his season on the injured list due to right elbow inflammation.

He returned to Toronto after signing as a free agent last offseason.

In 2025, Garcia made 22 appearances amidst two separate IL stints due to a right shoulder impingement and left ankle sprain, respectively.

In his last full season in 2023, Garcia posted a 4.09 ERA and fanned 79 batters in 66 innings pitched across 73 appearances. He had three saves in seven opportunities and 19 holds.
