The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Angels are set to play Game 5 of the World Series at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
The series is tied 2-2 and Wednesday will be the final game played in Los Angeles. The World Series will return to Rogers Centre in Toronto for Game 6.
Whichever team wins will be one win away from winning the World Series. If the Dodgers go on to win the World Series, it will be back-to-back championships. If the Blue Jays win, it'll be their first World Series win since 1993.
Trey Yesavage will be on the hill for Toronto and Blake Snell will be the starting pitcher Los Angeles.
1st Inning
- One pitch - one run. Left fielder Davis Schneider hits a solo home run to left field on the first pitch of the at-bat. 1-0 Toronto.
- Vladimir Guerrero Jr. now hits a solo homer on a fly ball to left field. 2-0 Blue Jays through two at-bats.
- Varsho grounds into a double play to end the inning. Toronto scores two runs on three hits (two home runs) in the top of the first. Snell at 13 pitches. Shohei Ohtani to lead off the bottom of the first.
- Scratch that last update. Blue Jays challenge Daulton Varsho was safe at first. Call overturned. Toronto has a runner on first and two outs.
- Varsho is caught stealing. Toronto leads 2-0 going into the bottom of the first. Ohtani to lead off and Snell is at 15 pitches.
- Betts strikes out swinging and Yesavage retires the side in order. He's at 11 pitches. Blue Jays still in front 2-0 going into the top of the second. Ernie Clement to lead off for Toronto.
2nd Inning
- Andres Gimenez strikes out swinging and Toronto leaves a runner stranded at first. Snell at 26 pitches. Freddie Freeman will lead off the bottom of the second.

4th Inning
- Ernie Clement hits an RBI sacrifice that brings home Daulton Varsho. Varsho got on with a lead-off triple. 3-1 Toronto.
- Andres Gimenez strikes out swinging and the Blue Jays leave a runner stranded at first base. Snell at 66 pitches. Will Smith to lead off the bottom of the fourth for Los Angeles.
- Tommy Edman pops out and Los Angeles leaves runners stranded at first and second base. Blue Jays keep their lead at 3-1 going into the 5th inning. Yesavage at 62 pitches. Top of the order due up for Toronto.
5th Inning
- Bo Bichette lines out and Blake Snell faces the minimum. He's at 78 pitches through five innings. Max Muncy will lead off the bottom of the fifth.
- Alex Call strikes out swinging. Yesavage retires the side in order. He's at 10 strikeouts and 77 pitches through five innings. Alejandro Kirk will lead off the top of the sixth.

- Bo Bichette hits an RBI single that scores Andres GImenez and moves Vladimir Guerrero to third. Toronto's lead extends to 5-1. Runners on the corners and two outs.
- Kirk is walked on four pitches and the Blue Jays have the bases loaded with two outs. Daulton Varsho to bat. Anthony Banda in at pitcher to get out of the jam.
- Varsho grounds into an inning-ending fielder's choice and Banda gets out of the jam. Toronto's lead at 5-1 going into the bottom of the seventh. Freddie Freeman to lead off.
- Tommy Edman grounds into an inning-ending 5-4-3 double play. Through seven innings, Yesavage has struck out 12 and has allowed one earned run on three hits on 104 pitches (71 strikes). His 12 fanned batters is a World Series record for a rookie pitcher. Ernie Clement will lead off the top of the eighth.
8th Inning
- Isiah Kiner-Falefa hits an RBI single that brings home Ernie Clement. Blue Jays' lead at 6-1. Runner at first with one out.
- Myles Straw pops out and a runner gets left stranded at second. Max Muncy to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning.
- Seranthony Dominguez in at pitcher for Yesavage.
- Dominguez induces a groundout from Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers leaves a runner stranded at first. Final inning of the World Series coming up in Los Angeles. Blake Treinen at pitcher for the Dodgers. Guerrero to lead off for Toronto.
9th Inning
- Treinen retires the side in order and Los Angeles is down to their final three outs. Will Smith will lead off the bottom of the ninth.
- Teoscar Hernandez strikes out swinging and Smith is left stranded at first to end the game. Toronto wins 6-1 and takes a 3-2 lead in the World Series. It will head back to Rogers Centre in Canada for Game 6.
