Andres Gimenez is currently trying to help Venezuela advance to the World Baseball Classic championship and he made an impact against Italy in a semifinal game Monday.

Gimenez advanced to third base from first on a soft ground ball hit by Jackson Chourio and eventually scored on a subsequent hit in the top of the seventh inning that tied the game 2-2 for Venezuela.
