Just days after pitchers and catchers are set to report to spring training, the Toronto Blue Jays added to their minor league depth and signed a pitcher to a minor league debut with an invitee to spring training.
The Blue Jays inked left-handed pitcher Josh Fleming on Saturday.
Fleming has a career major league ERA of 4.77 with 161 strikeouts in 254.2 innings pitched across 80 appearances (25 starts) with the Tampa Bay Rays and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Fleming didn't pitch in the majors in 2025 and spent the entire year with the Seattle Mariners' Triple-A affiliate, the Tacoma Rainiers.
Fleming had a 4.91 ERA and fanned 44 batters in 84.1 innings pitched across 47 appearances (three starts) with the Rainiers in '25.
