The Toronto Blue Jays have had a successful winter just days before the calendar turns to 2026.
The Blue Jays have signed starting pitchers Dylan Cease to a seven-year, $210 million contract and Cody Ponce to a three-year, $30 million deal, respectively.
Toronto also bolstered its bullpen by signing Tyler Rogers to a three-year deal worth $37 million contract.
The Blue Jays could also have more moves brewing.
Toronto has been linked to third baseman Alex Bregman, corner infielder Kazuma Okamoto, shortstop Bo Bichette and outfielder Kyle Tucker. Several reports have stated rival executives view the Blue Jays as the favorite for Bichette and Tucker.
Currently, it seems like the offseason has slowed down. But when things start to pick up against, Toronto could be front and center. And a potential deal with Tucker, Bichette or Bregman, or a combination of the three, could guarantee the Blue Jays the best offseason in the majors.
