The Toronto Blue Jays were shut out in a 3-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The Rays swept the Blue Jays with the win. Toronto is currently fourth in the American League East with at 16-21 and nine games behind the New York Yankees for first place in the division.
