Team Mexico makes it official with Alejandro Kirk joining World Baseball Classic roster

Despite already being reported to be joining the roster, Team Mexico officially confirmed that catcher Alejandro Kirk will be on the 2026 World Baseball Classic roster.
Kirk will join a stacked Team Mexico roster that includes 2025 All-Star outfielder Randy Arozarena, All-Star closer Andres Munoz and recently-confirmed first baseman Rowdy Tellez.
