Dustin May goes down, Robert Gasser steps up.

In a scary situation, starting pitcher Dustin May was hit square in the back by a ball that was coming off the bat at nearly 100 miles per hour.

Manager Pat Murphy has no choice but to pull him after May couldn't keep it together on the mound.

accorind to an interview with Adam McCalvy aftet the game, Dustin May looks lke hes going to be ok for the time being.

Robert Gasser came in and pitched 5 1/3 innings and only gave up one earned run.  He chalked up six strikeouts as well.

To add further merit to Gasser's outing, this was his first appearance as a reliever in his MLB career.
