Looks like williams took the long term deal from the Mets. 

The Brewers offered him a short team deal, but he passed.   MLB.com's Mark Feinsand pitched him as the "perfect" match for Milwaukee, but opted for the 3 year, 45 million Dollar contract offered by the New York Mets
