Because of its commitments to NBA games on Sunday nights, NBC largely is pushing "Sunday Night Baseball" to Peacock in the first two months of the season. That's why the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers are not airing Sunday night on NBC.

NBC will televise the Cleveland Guardians at the Atlanta Braves on April 12 before putting the network broadcasts on hiatus, making them available on Peacock instead. 

Games will be back on NBC on May 31, and the Cardinals will get their shot again as a standalone game. They will host the Chicago Cubs at 7 p.m. ET that day.

The Cardinals will have one more NBC game, a special Labor Day telecast when St. Louis will play at the San Francisco Giants on Sept. 7. Check out the full schedule here.
