The Cardinals announced that tonight’s 6:45 PM CT game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The two teams will make up tonight’s postponed game on Tuesday, July 7, at 1:15 PM CT at Busch Stadium as part of a split doubleheader before the originally scheduled 6:45 PM game.
Tickets for tonight’s game will be valid for the rescheduled 1:15 PM game on July 7.
Andre Pallante, who was scheduled to start on Tuesday night, will start on Wednesday afternoon in the series finale against the Brewers. Matthew Liberatore's next start will be pushed to Thursday in San Diego against the Padres.
The Cardinals have won seven of their last eight games, sweeping a four-game series in Pittsburgh, winning two of three against the back-to-back champion Dodgers and rolling over the Brewers 6-3 on Monday night at Busch Stadium.
Before Tuesday's rain out, the Cardinals were in arguably their most arduous stretch of the season by playing 17 games in 17 consecutive days. They have gone 7-4 over the first 11 games of that stretch.
