Cubs Call Up Gavin Hollowell

The Chicago Cubs have recalled Gavin Hollowell from Triple-A Iowa before Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Right-hander Corbin Martin was designated for assignment in the corresponding move.

We predicted at Cubs Roundtable that the Cubs could look to call up Hollowell. He is fully recovered from his concussion and has pitched well at Triple-A to begin the season.
