The Chicago Cubs signed outfielder Dylan Carlson to a Minor League deal over the weekend. 

Carlson was designated for assignment by the Cubs last week to make way for Seiya Suzuki on the 26-man roster. Carlson then went unclaimed on waivers and elected free agency. 

However, Carlson is now back with the Cubs. He has reported to Triple-A following a new Minor League deal and will give the North Siders much-needed outfield depth in the Minors.
