Chicago Cubs prospect Jonathon Long left Saturday's Spring Training game early after a collision at first base. Long was reaching out to catch a ball at first base, and his arm got caught on the Rangers player.
These types of collisions happen all the time in baseball, and it's always a dangerous one for the first baseman. He immediately left the game and will likely undergo testing to ensure everything is fine.
Hopefully, Long won't miss too much time.
