Joel Reuter came out with his latest Power Rankings on Bleacher Report for the 2026 season. 

To no surprise, he had the Los Angeles Dodgers as the No. 1 team entering the season. Right behind the Dodgers in the Power Rankings, though, Reuter had the Chicago Cubs in the No. 2  spot. 

It's nice to see the Cubs getting some respect ahead of the 2026 season. Despite losing Kyle Tucker to free agency, the North Siders replaced him with Edward Cabrera (trade) and Alex Bregman (signing). 

Is this a fair spot for the Cubs?
