Brennen Davis was once the Chicago Cubs' top prospect in the organization. He was selected in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft and showed a ton of promise in his first few years in the Minors.
However, injuries eventually led to the Cubs designating Davis for assignment in November of 2024.
Now, Davis is showing that potential again early in the spring. He signed a Minor League deal with the Seattle Mariners this offseason and is currently hitting .379 with four home runs and six RBI across 29 at-bats.
The Cubs will get to face Davis on Thursday, as the North Siders play against the Mariners at Sloan Park.
