The Chicago Cubs announced that Jameson Taillon will start in the team's first Spring Training game on Friday. Jonathan Cannon will start for the White Sox opposite Taillon in this game. 

Cubs manager Craig Counsell also announced that Seiya Suzuki will start in center field in the Spring Training opener. That means we should expect Pete Crow-Armstrong to sit out the first game.
